Digital Identity Company Caf Doubles Revenue, With International Expansion, New Product Innovations and Proprietary Events Driving Growth
Caf, a global leader in the digital identity market, is pleased to announce significant business growth and expansion throughout the first half of 2024.
The company has established itself as a leader in identity verification and fraud prevention in Brazil, not only working with some of the biggest national brands, but helping international firms looking to establish a foothold in the country as well.
Beyond that, Caf has embarked on a global expansion into target markets including the U.S., Europe and the wider LATAM region with its Know Your Everything platform, an end-to-end tool for global user authentication and verification. The platform combines advanced computer vision ML models, an AI-powered decision engine, and sophisticated identity orchestration with a large collection of biometrics and identity databases.
The Know Your Everything platform contains Caf’s Know Your Business (KYB) solution, which was named a top solution in the business verification space by noted research and analyst firm Liminal Strategy earlier this year.
Caf’s KYB product features global data coverage, covering 250 countries and jurisdictions globally with data from over 400 corporate registries, 200 fully integrated international watch and sanctions lists, import-export lists, and 430 million credit reports. The platform also features “single-click” Ultimate Beneficial Ownership (UBO) mapping, including information from high-risk and hard-target jurisdictions, such as China, Mexico, Russia, and offshore tax havens.
Caf has also achieved record success with its annual Identity Day conference in Sao Paulo. This year’s event in March was the biggest ever, with more than 1,000 attendees and 40+ expert speakers. Caf is now bringing Identity Day to Europe in September with an all-day event in London, marking the next evolution in this already respected industry event.
“We have experienced significant growth in Brazil and count many of the country’s biggest brands among our client base and we’re now working with companies globally to help them navigate today’s dynamic digital landscape and achieve their strategic objectives" - Jason Howard, CEO, Caf
In addition to these highlights, Caf also announced several new product capabilities designed to keep businesses secure against sophisticated fraud attacks by integrating AI with human intuition, leveraging evolving data sources for better detection, and doubling down on hybrid product development to offer unmatched security and efficiency.
These new product capabilities include:
Enhanced Decisioning:
Verify entities and assess risks across borders, enabling faster and more informed decision-making processes.
Fraud Prevention:
Stop sophisticated fraud attacks, including deepfakes, using AI-powered digital forensic tools, combined with human expertise when necessary.
Suspicious Activity Monitoring:
Customized signal tracking and data analysis to spot changes to identity risk status and automatically take actions. Re-authenticate returning users to reduce fraud such as account takeover attacks.
Comprehensive Data Insights:
Up-to-date and precise information on businesses and individuals leveraging a comprehensive and evolving set of data sources, enabling accurate risk assessment and compliance
Identity Intelligence Center:
A single interface to view completed, rejected, or pending cases, configure new rules, review user journeys, add additional data to the background checks with a few clicks, and manage user permissions.
Caf has also experienced rapid customer growth throughout 2024. Among the new clients brought on board are a major tech platform using Caf to help it meet global regulatory requirements, as well as several international payments processors and large-scale gambling operators who use the KYE platform to improve user experience and onboarding, comply with global regulations, fight fraud and drive consistent processes.
Throughout 2024, Caf also attended and spoke at some of the biggest industry events including Money 20/20 Asia, Money 20/20 Europe, Marketplace Risk and MRC.
“Our recent growth and momentum reflect the hard work and dedication of our team, as well as the trust our clients place in our solutions. We are committed to continuing this trajectory by focusing on innovation, customer satisfaction, and strategic partnerships" - Howard.
Added Emma Lindley, Caf Director of International Expansion: “The enhancements we've made to our product offerings position us well to meet the evolving needs of our clients. We are excited about the future and the opportunities that lie ahead."
